Carta Coordinador Secundaria

When I have inquired about people´s experiences during Middle School, Charles Dicken´s novel, A Tale of Two Cities, comes to mind: ¨it was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair¨. There are always mixed reviews of how people faced that time in their lives when they encountered so many changes and we at San Miguel work hard to make that experience a positive one.

Our team of excellent educators works on the premise that learning should be student centered and that it is our job to teach students to become lifelong learners. Becoming lifelong learners requires our students to develop problem solving, interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills that are needed to become happy and productive young adults. Our community fosters an environment of respect, honesty and of accountability where students learn that they are responsible for their actions and decisions.

Thank you for your interest in our school and I cordially invite you to discover with us the wisdom, the belief and the light that is needed during that time.

Respectfully yours,

Danny Catano
