Speech therapy

Liceo Taller San Miguel offers students and their families the Service of Speech therapy as an added value to the educational process, taking into account it is a communicative act mediated by language. The strategies of intervention offered are generally indirect, through monitoring and stimulation of Linguistic, Academic and Cognitive Skills from  students in the school context, classroom recommendations and homemade activities. Additionally other actions are taken such us, brief assessments of speech, language, reading and writing with students referred by teachers, coordinators or the support group. After these assessments, counseling is carried out with the family and Teachers to address skill improvement strategies. If he student requires it, his process will be referred externally.
