Speech therapy Support

Liceo  Taller San Miguel offers students and their families the speech therapy  service, as an added value to the education process considering that it is  a communicative act mediated by language. The intervention strategies that the  school offers are indirect in general, through the monitoring and stimulation  of linguistic, academic and cognitive skills, of students in the school  context, along with  classroom recommendations and home activities. In addition to this, brief  evaluations are carried out in speaking, language, reading and writing skills with  students referred by teachers, principals or support group members. After these assessments, advice is carried out  with the family  and teachers to direct skill improvement strategies. If the student requires it, external referrals are  made.
